Inspirational reading tips !

I have been doing quite a bit of reading in the past 6 months or so of what I suppose you could call “inspirational” books (for want of a better name !). I would suggest the following 3 books if you are looking for a good read which will also make you think and might evern set you on a new path…..?
1)The art of acting — Stella Adler
2) The master key system —-Charles Haanel
3) The secret behind the secret —-Dr.Eric Amidi
(this is an e-book, well worth reading)
If you are not in an “inspirational” mood try either The Wind in the Willows or Paper Moon; both great fun and a good read without taxing the brain too much. Talk soon !
The Bad Pennies

Yep ! That’s the name to remember ! They are the winners of Clare’s got Talent for 2010 and, if I may say so, very worthy winners at that ! the standard was red hot for the final and all 8 acts did themselves proud. The venue was absolutely packed and all in all it was a total success. Here’s to next year !

Download my Song for Free: The Irish Pub

As promised, here’s an MP3 of my song “The Irish Pub”, in honour of St Patrick’s Day and the Irish contribution to international goodwill!
As I’ve said, this song was a hit last year for The High Kings. Anyone who’s travelled knows that it’s almost impossible to find someplace without an Irish pub in the vicinity. I was inspired to write this after discovering an Irish Pub in the Italian Alps at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
This version of the song is from my CD Lover’s Ghost, which will shortly be available to buy on this site. In the spirit of St Patrick’s Day – this one’s on me. Click here to download it.
Clare’s got talent: Final Lineup

The final line up for Clare’s got talent is: Marie Keane, Socks in the Frying Pan, Seodin, Chill, Bad Pennies, Trad in Motion, Maids of Tulla and Davie Keenan. Final will take place in Glor next Sunday night at 8pm and is completely sold out. The judges will be Tracey Crawford, Nigel Bridge and myself. Don’t forget one other interesting event in the very near future in Co.Clare and that is the 2 day Hero’s Journey seminar which will be held in Bunratty Castle Hotel in about 2 week’s time (don’t have exact date to hand). I did this seminar and it is fantastic…info from www.phoenixalchemy.com
DOWNLOADS, BEATLES AND OTHER STUFF ON A FRIDAY

If you are looking forward to downloading your free copy of THE IRISH PUB then fear not….there has been a slight delay but it will DEFINITELY be here for free downloading by St. Patrick’s Day. As I mentioned earlier the entire album will be available for free downloading in the near future….stay tuned !

Off to Dublin for the weekend to attend the birthday party of the one and only Kieran Fitzgerald. Have a great weekend and keep a smile on your face…it costs nothing and it could be worth millions !
